Alex: "An airplane? Perhaps a motorcycle out on the street or...?"
Rich: "It's a garbage disposal. Press that button and it sucks up all the waste food."
Alex: "Do it again..."
Peter: "Please! This is almost as good as TV."
With this new discovery and a sense of joy in their lives, the boys finish the evening dishes and wonder, with great expectation, what wondrous discoveries lie ahead here in America.

Clearly, with the last two blog entries, I'm working hard at shaming Alexander and Peter into taking over the blog. So far, it has not worked, but hope reins eternal here on Prospect Avenue....
garbage disposer, elvis, jazz and sarah palin - a lot of things comes from America. elvis and jazz have crossed the atlantic. I hope the garbage disposer will so too. and I'll hope two scandinavian kids will take over the blog...
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!
It's a pleasure to follow the exploits of Peter (my cousin), Alexander, and the Kents on this blog - and I second the suggestion that the two Scandinavians share some observations about their American life...

Many of us Americans would like her to cross the Atlantic... and stay along with her companion, "McSame."
Søren and Rich: If it can keep Sarah Palin away from The White House, I'll host her as an exchange mom in my garage for four years!
You are, indeed, a great and decent man...!
That is, indeed, very generous of you, Niels! I'm just afraid that your cat wouldn't appreciate the addition of a pitbull to the household... (not to mention Mette who'd have to guard her extra lipstick carefully)
