Rich celebrated his birthday today with the Trevetts & Alex in Trenton. Then, he returned home to be surprised by Aunt Connie and a scrumptious cake. Alex, Connie, and Rich feasted on cake while chatting.

The Kent Family's lake cabins are on Lake Webb.... Here's a late July evening on Burt's Point, Webb Lake, Weld, Maine, USA
Rich's grandparents (F. Allen & Leila Shaw Burt) from Boston came to Lake Webb in the 1920s. Since that time, the Kent family has come to Weld for summer holidays. All of the Kents grew up on the lake during the summer time.

Hey all,
Thanks for the kind words. This age thing, now more than ever, is truly a state of mind for me. I'm happy to be able to go for a run, stay up past 9pm (barely), and laugh at just about everything that comes my way except for McCain, Palen, and bigotry. OK then: that's about as philosophical as I can be this morning! All the best and happy birthdays to everyone!
