The Kent Family's lake cabins are on Lake Webb.... Here's a late July evening on Burt's Point, Webb Lake, Weld, Maine, USA
Rich's grandparents (F. Allen & Leila Shaw Burt) from Boston came to Lake Webb in the 1920s. Since that time, the Kent family has come to Weld for summer holidays. All of the Kents grew up on the lake during the summer time.

How did it go?
He survived! Snow's a bit limited right now but both Alex and Peter have been working on their skills on what we call "Eastern Powder" (i.e., hard-packed snow with an icy base). Unlike the deep fluffy powder of the Alps or western America, Eastern Powder is unforgiving and demands that the skier use her or his edges. It's a great training ground for skiers. So the answer is that Alex did well and he, like Peter, is awaiting the next big dump of snow!
